Integrity = Life Force

A teacher once told me: “Who people were in middle school shows up when they socialize.” And I have consistently found that to be true.

The unresolved elements of middle school (and elementary, high school) do show up in socializing.

Back then, I was vulnerable yet guarded, and had trouble getting what had people be likable.

I exiled the parts of me I thought weren’t “cool,” or acceptable, building a façade of what others wanted.

And I admit that it can still show up in adulthood and in my business.

But I’ve learned people crave something else: realness.

They feel the difference between a polished persona and the true, imperfectly-perfect you.

The feedback I always get is that people can't feel me unless I am coming from Self and my heart.

I've been reclaiming those exiled parts and my real Self is organically emerging and it's had a great impact over time on my life and my business.

When I let myself be where I am and how I am...I naturally have more energy.

Martha Beck, the author of "The Way of Integrity" names symptoms that can arise when we're not living in integrity:

  • emptiness, purposelessness

  • low energy, health ailments

  • distraction by addictive behaviors

She transformed her life by committing to integrity and healing those parts of her that learned to hide and seek approval.

I’ve seen the same in my business.

The more I act from alignment with my real truth and heart, the more trust grows for myself and others feel for me

As David R. Hawkins wrote in Power vs. Force: when we live from truth, our life force literally increases and we become a life-giving energy. I couldn’t agree more.
